Today our guest for a Halloween/Day of the Dead discussion of ghost stories around the American south, is Author, travel writer, and publisher Kathleen “Katy” Walls a former reporter for Union Sentinel in Blairsville, GA, and publisher/writer for American Roads and Global Highways. She currently resides in Middleburg, FL, and has lived in Florida most of her life but travels extensively, mainly in the Southeast. Kathleen was born in New Orleans and goes back often to Louisiana. She has lived in Mississippi and Georgia as well. She is the author of travel books: Georgia’s Ghostly Getaways, Finding Florida’s Phantoms, Hosts With Ghosts, and Wild About Florida series, novels; Last Step, Kudzu, Under a Bloody Flag, Under a Black Flag, For Want of a Ship, The Tenant From Hell, Double Duplicity, and The Ranch House Heist, True Crime; ManHunt: The Eric Rudolph Story, and Missing but not Forgotten (This one is slightly fictionalized but based on a true abduction case in a tiny Florida town.
